Notice of cancellation - “The All-Aviation Industry Race for Ukrainian Children with Cancer”
It is with regret that we have had to cancel the “The All-Aviation Industry Race for Ukrainian Children with Cancer” scheduled for the evening of June 22 2022 at the British-Irish Airports EXPO. This is due to essential construction work blocking the public highway which means that the long-established run-route at ExCeL cannot be used at the planned time of our event.
100% of race entry fees were being donated directly to benefit Tabletochki, the Kyiv-based child cancer charity. As these entry funds have been directly sent to Tabletochki, if you have already donated to via the Global Giving link, we sincerely hope that you will be prepared to maintain your donation to this incredible cause. However, if you wish to have a refund, please contact us directly.
Despite this disappointing news, I am personally very grateful for all the kindness and enthusiasm which you, and many others, have shown in support of this project which has still managed to raise over £10,000 in aid of child cancer suffers in Ukraine.
