Structural ideas for this year’s conference are being developed by The British-Irish Accessible Airport Panel of eight airports which meets to discuss best practice and swap ideas (LHR, MAN, EDI, LGW, SOU, STN, SNN, BRS). However, case studies and great ideas for presentations are invited from all air transport stakeholders, charities and travel interest groups.

The Accessible Airport Conference at the Heathrow-hosted British-Irish Airports EXPO 2018 was addressed by Lord David Blunkett, Chair, easyJet Special Assistance Advisory Group (ESAAG), and Richard Moriarty Chief Executive, UK Civil Aviation Authority, who used the event to launch “CAP 1629 – CAA Guidance on Hidden Disabilities.”
